Watson's Campaign Commercials


Watson’s is a garden and home store in the South Sound that inspires a lifestyle filled with thriving gardens and quality curated home goods.

A marketing campaign for this brand needed to put the lifestyle that Watson’s inspired front and center, so the decision was made to tell a story that showed the connection between Watson’s and home.

The first commercial featured a family at Watson’s, shopping for garden supplies, patio furniture, and home decor. Each scene is cut to show a sweet moment of the family’s life at home that’s connected to their trip to Watson’s.


In the winter, Watson’s transitions from garden to holiday inspiration, with themed trees, holiday decor, visits from Santa, and even live reindeer. I wrote this commercial to evoke the magic of the holiday season as it follows the same family on a whimsical shopping experience where they meet Santa and his reindeer.


In springtime we targeted another key Watson’s demographic: women shoppers. I chose a mother daughter dynamic for this piece and highlighted the connection that a trip to Watson’s facilitates both in store and at home.


The holiday season at Watson’s is about connecting. That could mean finding that special ornament together for the family tree or the perfect gift for family and friends. In these commercials, we captured that moment of connection in three fifteen-second spots that could be aired individually or back-to-back depending on the delivery platform.
