Coinme Brand Development
Coinme is the largest cash to crypto currency network in the world. Founded in 2014, they started with a handful of Bitcoin ATMs in the Seattle metro area, then grew to thousands of kiosks throughout the country through partnerships with Coinstar and MoneyGram.
Sands Costner connected with the founders in 2014 and wanted to support their vision of making Bitcoin more accessible. Our team consulted with the founders on the selection of a company name and I worked with them to design their brand and their first five kiosks.
In 2014 Coinme had the only Bitcoin ATMs in the PNW. The kiosks needed to introduce the product and the brand and build trust, so we chose to give the kiosks a hyper-local feel with a Seattle skyline.
